MOCHUDI CENTRE CHIEFS CONFIRM LOAN SIGNING OF BENSON KITSO MANGOLO

Mochudi Centre Chiefs have officially strengthened their squad after confirming the acquisition of versatile defender Benson Kitso Mangolo on a six-month loan deal from South African outfit Richards Bay FC.

The short-term move marks a strategic addition for the Botswana giants as they continue to reinforce their squad depth ahead of the demanding phase of the season. Mangolo, who is primarily deployed on the left side of defense, is widely regarded for his adaptability, work rate, and tactical discipline qualities that are expected to add balance and energy to the Chiefs’ backline.

Club sources indicate that the decision to bring in Mangolo was driven by the technical bench’s desire to bolster defensive options, particularly on the flanks. His ability to operate both as a traditional left-back and in more advanced wide roles provides the coaching staff with valuable flexibility in terms of formations and in-game adjustments.

Mangolo joins Mochudi Centre Chiefs at a crucial time, as the club aims to remain competitive domestically while also sharpening its squad for high-intensity fixtures. His experience at Richards Bay FC, competing in one of Africa’s more demanding football environments, is expected to translate into composure and maturity on the pitch.

Speaking after the confirmation of the deal, insiders close to the club expressed confidence that the defender will quickly adapt to the team’s philosophy and contribute positively during his loan spell. Fans will be eager to see how Mangolo integrates into the squad and whether he can make an immediate impact on the left flank.

The loan agreement will run for six months, during which Mochudi Centre Chiefs will closely monitor the player’s performances as both clubs evaluate potential future options.

With this signing, the Chiefs have once again underlined their intent to remain competitive and proactive in the transfer market.
