The tanzania meteorological authority has issued a weather forecast for the next 24 hours starting at 9.00 p.m on january 28, 2026, indicating varied weather conditions across different parts of the country.
in dodoma and singida regions, as well as morogoro, mtwara and lindi regions, and rukwa, ruvuma, songwe, mbeya, iringa and njombe regions, weather conditions are expected to be generally cloudy with sunny intervals. some areas may experience thundershowers occasionally.
meanwhile, tabora, kigoma and katavi regions, together with kagera, shinyanga, mara, geita, mwanza and simiyu regions, are likely to experience partly cloudy conditions with occasional thundershowers in some areas.
for unguja and pemba isles, tanga and dar es salaam regions, pwani region including mafia islands, as well as arusha, manyara and kilimanjaro regions, the forecast indicates partly cloudy conditions accompanied by sunny periods.
