The Mining Commission is inviting investors, entrepreneurs, youth, women and the general public to visit its pavilion at the ongoing 12th Zanzibar International Trade Fair in Fumba, Zanzibar, to explore the wide range of opportunities available in Tanzania’s mining sector.
Through the exhibition, the Commission is showcasing prospects in mineral exploration, mining, mineral processing, mineral trading, as well as the supply of goods and services to mining operations, while highlighting the sector’s contribution to economic growth, employment creation and income generation.
Speaking at the fair, the Commission’s Public Relations and Communications Manager, Greyson Mwase, said the mining sector offers inclusive opportunities for all, including small-scale miners and entrepreneurs, encouraging citizens to apply for Primary Mining Licences (PMLs), engage in value addition activities and utilise official mineral markets and buying centres.
The 12th Zanzibar International Trade Fair runs until January 16, 2026, and members of the public are warmly invited to visit the Mining Commission Pavilion to receive guidance and discover life-changing investment opportunities in Tanzania’s fast-growing mining sector.
