The Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Hon. Dr. Ashatu Kijaji, has expressed satisfaction with the preparations for The Serengeti Awards ceremony and commended the entire organizing team for the great work accomplished.
Dr. Kijaji, accompanied by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Dr. Hassan Abbasi, the Deputy Permanent Secretary in charge of Tourism, Mr. Nkoba Mabula, members of the Ministry’s management, and leaders from its institutions, conducted an inspection of the preparations for the prestigious national awards.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place today, January 31, 2026, with the Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba, expected to be the Guest of Honour.
