WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS

 

The Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA) has released the weather forecast for the next 24 hours starting at 9:00 p.m. on January 29, 2026, indicating varied weather conditions across different parts of the country.

According to TMA, the southern part of Morogoro Region, as well as Mtwara and Lindi Regions, are expected to experience cloudy conditions with thundershowers over a few areas, accompanied by sunny intervals.

In the Rukwa, Ruvuma, Songwe, Mbeya, Iringa and Njombe Regions, partly cloudy conditions are forecast, with thundershowers over a few areas and periods of sunshine.

The Authority further stated that Kagera and Geita Regions, together with the northern part of Morogoro Region, Dodoma and Singida Regions, and Tabora, Kigoma and Katavi Regions, will experience partly cloudy conditions with isolated thundershowers and sunny periods.

Meanwhile, Unguja and Pemba Isles, Tanga and Dar es Salaam Regions, Pwani Region including Mafia Island, as well as Arusha, Manyara and Kilimanjaro Regions, are expected to have partly cloudy conditions with sunny intervals.

For the Shinyanga, Mara, Mwanza and Simiyu Regions, partly cloudy weather with extended sunny periods is anticipated.

TMA has advised members of the public to continue following official weather updates and take necessary precautions in response to the prevailing weather conditions.
